Teen Arts NJ (formerly the Arts & Education Center) has offered terrific programs for our talented and gifted students for years now. Arts High Grades 6-8 is a pull-out program that allows students to work in small groups with professionals from a variety of different fields. ​Classes are available in:
  • Creative Writing
  • Musical Improvisation
  • Modern Dance
  • Musical Theatre
  • Comedic Acting
  • Photography
  • Theatre Arts
  • 3-D Visual Arts
  • Drawing & Painting
  • Vocal Music
2022-2023 Information!!!
Applications are Due November 15, 2022

​These must be mailed in OR you can apply online at www.ArtsHigh.net. Paper applications are available in the main office and the Music Wing.
Auditions are Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Middlesex County College. 
Apply FIRST and then after the deadline, you will receive more information about your audition time and requirements.

Quick FAQ's about MTMS Students Participating in Arts High
  • Classes take place at Middlesex County College on Wednesdays between February and May.
  • Students will take buses from our school leaving around mid-day and they will return after 5pm. 
    • ​Parents will need to arrange to have students picked up at the school. Stay tuned for carpooling information!
  • The district does help subsidize the cost of the program, but students are responsible for their own audition fees, equipment, etc.
  • Students are responsible to get any work they will be missing from their classes when participating in the Arts Middle School program.
